(A MINIMUM OF 125 WORDS) CLASSMATE’S POST I have worked for a company before that was supposed to be a high performing company. The negative to it was the team did not work well together. The company was a fruit bouquet company that made thousands of dollars around the holidays. They could have made more if the team worked well together. The problem that we had was immature employees that made others pick up the slack. The employees were fresh out of high school and did not have the work ethic that it took to handle the task. We would work 12-14-hour days and still would not have all the work done and must come back 5-6 hours later to get a head start on the day. The changes that I would have made would be to hire mature individuals that had what it took to get the job done. Make sure they are hired well before the holidays, so they know the tasks and are trained on how to make the arrangements before the major holidays arrive. I would also make sure they are a team player and if I saw signs they are not, get rid of them or put them in a different position, such as delivery driver. To work well in a production environment that takes multiple people to make a job work effectively, you must have a group of people that work well together and understand one another.
